Antonio, a remarkable young man whose life was tragically cut short. Born on December 1, 2003, he was a natural-born adventurer who discovered his love for flight, the ocean, guitar, and the great outdoors at a young age. His passion for music was inspired by his grandmother, Cyndy Winters, whom he affectionately called “Mimi” and listened to countless hours of Jazz. Antonio learned that he could express himself through music and that with practice and passion, anything was possible.
Antonio was an accomplished aviator, having earned his remote pilot license and boating license. He was awarded pilot wings by the Federal Aviation Administration, which were presented to his mother, Esther Rosa. He also brought awareness to the Eastland Career Center Aviation Program and encouraged others to pursue careers and hobbies alike.
In addition to his love of aviation, Antonio was a loving big brother to his two younger brothers, Roman and Bronson, and his twin sisters, Victoria and Bianca. He was very close with his mother, Esther Rosa, grandmother Cyndy Winters, and grandfathers Eligio Colon and Beau Davis, as well as his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. His best friend was his cousin Zion, with whom he grew up closely.
Antonio was kind-hearted, funny, and loved all animals. He was an avid camper and spent many summers camping with Mimi and Beau. He was also an organ donor and saved seven lives before his untimely passing on August 13, 2021.
Antonio’s legacy lives on through all the loving memories of Antonio and through Antonio’s Aviation Legacy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving his memory and empowering future generations of pilots.
